    2005 Acura Tsx
    172,000 miles
This is my ride since 2005, I took this picture a few weeks ago with 135mm 2.0

After watching Fast Five today, I thought to myself why do I drive the way I do?  I love cars, and speed, which is why I began modding up my car, and becoming involved with my car forums.  It also led to some of my photography.

It might sound like I am a crazy driver and i’m reckless, but I have quite a bit of experience so i’m wouldn’t say I just cut in between two cars last minute random or reckless.  I am usually always watching for my blind spots, and i’m always aware of my surrounding, I even notice the color, make, year and models.  The one thing I can never do is remember plate numbers.

In no way was I ever influenced to drive or drift from those fast and furious movies.  I have to say initial d made me want to drive, but I only did it with my 92 camry and when it snowed in parking lots.  I actually practice a lot of my snow driving in Buffalo, ny since it snowed quite a bit there.  I did get in trouble by the cops a few times since they were checking what some friends and i were doing.  I was doing donuts and sliding the car around in snow just to get a feel with my all season – snow rated tires.  The cop said just be careful and take it easy.

I do enjoy empty roads and night drives =)

p.s The longest drive i’ve done was from buffalo, ny to Orlando, Florida
did it in 19 hrs by myself only stopped for gas, breaks, and food

    mini update

  • You the man, Jeff. You showed me this pic last time and I still think it’s awesome.

  • I love your ny driving heehee

  • What’s your next car gonna be?

  • thats a pretty car

the only time i ever went fast on a highway when no one was driving (early morning)…at 130km …didnt it feel euphoric ..such a rush ..that was with my old Celica….its gone ..damn flood took it away lol

i got a little nissan micra now lol..

  • It looks like it’s in one piece!  Wait, is that a dent above the rear driver side wheel?

  • You’ll have more fun in the snow (and probably in general) in RWD :)

I give you a lot of credit for having a car for so long. I’ve had my license for to years, and the longest any of my cars has lasted is 2.5 years.

I will say, from this winter, dedicated snow tires make all the difference. All seasons typically mean spring, summer, and fall…and the snow rating doesn’t actually do much.

  • @jdrop - I had my license since 17 and probably drove almost everyday.  In buffalo if we wanted to go out we needed to drive to go to places, so snow tires helped actually they were pretty good they were all seasons with snow rating and treads, and learning how to control the car helped a lot.  I was still able drive through a few blizzards and some crazy down fall without getting stuck.

@whotakethmycoke - no theres no dent lol

@nomilktoday - yea i like my car the color is still rare heh

    @mycontinuity - no clue =P

@swtaznxtc90 - wait till i actually can drive my tsx =) instead of the soccer van

  • Oh we have a red tsx! But only like 50k in miles. Lol
