So i’m pretty much working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday of everyweek in manhattan, and been trying kill time after work.  I work from 1-5, so afterwards I try call up some people to just go out and hang, or grab a bite, since I hate and hate driving through traffic, although its quite a sight to see sometimes. 

Anyways its not that I don’t like being bymyself, I feel so limited when I’m by myself.  I enjoy people’s company even a random strangers company sometimes, or even a chat.  The other day i was stopped by a few people asking me some camera stuff, It was quite a nice little chat with some of them but it seems its always just out of curiosity when I carry my camera.  I wonder if I carry the big lens out would I scare some people off haha…

Well if any new yorkers want to kill some time let me know =) im always up for anything, from running away from cops, to exloring abandon churches with alot of mildew and bird poop.

however when I do kill time I always seem to stumble of pretty sights =), this lady who lived outside of this water, I was practically in her backyard/sideyard.  She told me i’m free to stop by anytime, and she showed me a bunch of her photos that she mounted on her wall.  Shes been there for many many years, but said today wasn’t even that great.

Ever get the feeling your always late for work, or trapped in a dream that is too good to wake up to?

This morning I was supposed to wake up at 5, and then head out around 530 to Manhattan.  I have to drive in about 40 mins into queens, then subway about another 35 mins to the location. The fashion photographer who i’m interning for is helping out with a film today. 

So yea should be sleeping still but guess i’m already awake haha.. and talking to some on xz.

Talk about a view from the 34th floor near 47th and 1st ave.  This house was huge like I can say maybe 12 rooms on this floor…

It was a wild adventure from the day she landed her poor luggage was stuck in dc, so she had to survive a night with out her clothes.  We kept friday easy with some food at Debaski chicken wings, and next morning azriha, heather, and Alex went to get soup dumplings =D

Next day was off to nj to mitusaw, were azriha, kim and I pigged out on food, and then followed our pigging out with some horrible minigolf

azriha and I failed at Mini golf we had an hard time hitting par…

Next drove up to one of the cliffs where azriha and Kim wanted to fly kites

We kept things pretty easy but stopped at 53rd and 6th for the infamous halah cart food

The next day I gave her a tour of brooklyn, from grimaldi pizza, to brooklyn promende, and then venture to prospect park, and coney island.  She wasn’t hungry enough for nathan’s hotdogs, but we still saw plenty

 

We then met up with http://whotakethmycoke.xanga.com/  who hung out with us for a bit at seaport and then stopped in chinatown to show kim

 where we met with my old friend delia, and walked around wall st for a bit till she had to go back to work.  After that azriha got out and we went to eat noodle house in chinatown =), it was good.  Whotakethmycoke had to leave afterwards, so we headed back and had a simple night by hanging out in long island city pier.  then the late night munchies happened and we went to get some taiwanese food off of broadway, yumm crispy fried porkchops, stinky tofu, and tomatoe beef egg over rice.

The next day kim got to see manhattan by foot, we did a lot of passing by in the car, you really do get to see alot by car.

Yohkom and yumixpeach were also in for the adventure by foot.  we started in 34 th street and slowly walked up to 54th.

We did some walking in time sq and hit up the hershey and m&m store, then got super tired and wanted to hit up cosi for smores!

after that our next stop was rockerfellar and the nintendo store  Trigger821 joined us at the nintendo store

After dinner we could not find any dessert places opens so decided to do the night tour of manhattan for kim

Things been busy but i’m still around , and doing a bit better after hanging out with some old friends and catching up.  haven’t seen a few of them since a year or more. 
Its really hard keeping in touch with friends after going to school in Buffalo for 5 years almost.  But its good to be home in NYC =) still got plenty of exploring to do, and this internship along with shooting for night clubs is keep me quite busy…, but I still have a lot of time to kill in between.

Well i’ve been busy, besides the bad luck with my car this whole month or the aprill fools joke that the officer pulled on me, I’ve been busy from Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I have Photo Internship with a Fashion photographer.  Then Thursday night Friday nights and Saturday nights i’m shooting at the night clubs.

Guess my open week has turned into a busy week of madness, and running around, well i’m learning a lot through the internship, I also, was exposed to the models d sized boobs like bam right in my face by accident.  I’m not complaining but how do yo walk of of the room to let her change, and you think hiding behind the curtains of the next room is fine, she pops out with her d boob about an inch away my face, saying what do you think? no bra or bra? -_-  yea the photographer didn’t let me know that it was going be an underwear shoot haha…  fun stuff I guess more will come soon…

Ny update I have a lot of out of towners crashing at my place for a ny xanga meet well their all coming to ny in july so its going be a big party =D can’t wait hope im not too busy.

I can’t even list how many people are staying cuz they keep coming haha….

So I nailed this internship with a fashion photographer, at first I thought it was going be some sort of bitch work, since it was an non paid internship on craigslist.  So I sent an e-mail about almost end of February, and got a response within the day.  We set to meet up in Manhattan but the Wednesday that my interview fell on, was a super big snow storm.  With my lucky we had to reschedule, so the following week, we wanted to meet and it got canceled last minute due to his busy schedule.  And could not meet the week after that, I almost gave up hope since they failed to contact me again, but I stuck in there and said whats the harm if i keep being persistent.  I’m glad I was, I finally met Micheal, this past thursday.  He is a young photographer who is doing quite well, with a long list of clients. 

I think i’m going be working 2-3 days a week, which means I will have to drive into queens and park then subway it in.  Parking sucks around him, but not to worries I already feel this internship is going to busy, but I have loads to learn.  I had to pick up a macbok pro since, alot photographers and video people use apples.  He said i’m going learn my fair share from him but i’m also going have to do read and learn a few things myself.  He also said there is a good chance of working with him after this internship so Yay for jeff !

Okay so I’ve been pigging out lately, and it doesn’t help when a family dinner comes and insist on you staying for a 13 dish banquet.  They took home a lot of leftovers, but I barely got through 7 dishes…

It was also Kathleens birthday who is one of my many cousins… haha my family has so many generations its not even funny.

You can never rush a sunset, That is what i’m told.  you want to be there early just in case you hit traffic or some act of nature gets you stuck somewhere as the sun sets.  I always spend my time running and chasing sunsets which are fun, but you always run out of time when you get there.  Tonight was great since I was able to get a nice sunset I was at Brooklyn Promenade pretty early, so I didn’t have to worry about not being prepared.

This was taken on Monday at Long Island City Pier I was a bit late for the sunset, but still got the awesome blues during twlight =)

Poor Aaron (trigger821) he always seems to be waiting on alex when ever they meet up nyc.  He also woke up a bit late, so he did not join us for soup dumplings.
