Tomorrow I will be Leaving Buffalo, NY back home to NYC.  I just finished my undergrad at University at Buffalo, Communication B.A with a certificate Information and Networking Systems.

Although my orginal intended major was Mechanical Engineering.  I have a love for mechanics but i came to realize even though I love my car i can’t see myself working as a mechanic, nor can i see myself being a super smart engineer.  Hey i’m not book smarts.  I just have a passion for it, and love helping friends and others with car problems and other hands on things. 

Spring 2007 I found my passion though a friend who got me to join to college paper.  I was excited to be part of the staff and taking pictures with my very on digital slr.  Althought It got stolen later that year out of my car.  I learned a lot as time passed and grew quite quick through all my gear.  A lot of it costed big bucks but in the end its quality and hard work that earned it. 

I never got payed in this job but I didn’t care I loved doing it my name would be under all the photos I took and my friends and others would know me as Jeff the photographer or Jeff and The Spectrum.  I’m going miss this place, friends , professors who i’ve grown to like after hating them the first week or so. 

College is over ! Now time to get my ass back into nyc and work.
Some things I might do is more internships and assistanships since I need connections.  Even maybe nightlife clubs for a while I like the late nights even might meet a few connections there. 
Then I have a few backup plans if things don’t work out for the best.

So I was bored today and wanted to redo my water drop shots, this time with a whole new way of approaching it.   took maybe 3-4 times till i revised it.  After the 4th time I was happy maybe I should get a macro 60mm.  I have way too much fun doing this.  Well I need to start playing around more since i spent most of this semester studying and trying to graduate.

back in nyc dec 22!  who wants to go on a photo outing since people in cali are having one damn you people its cold on the northeast haha… maybe ill get a ticket out there haha

So today 3 of my friends who are also photographers, wanted to go sneak into an abandon factory plant. 

So we parked about a couple block away from fence so we could sneak our way in.  Next we made our way to the gate that had just a big enough opening and tossed our bags over and climbed over.   As we were walking from the gate we see a car pull in from the distance and one of us said run !  We ran about half way into the plant but all the walls were knocked down.  No where to hide or make a quick get away so we kept running till we got to one of the far sides.   We hid behind the mountain of snow and kept watch.  I noticed a van and someone getting out of the van so we kept low.  It soon began to snow big flurries, so we began slowly looking for an way out.  There was a way out it invovled jumping another fence, then we realized a fence has already been cut through.  We did not want to stick around in case the authorities were going to be involved. 

So we ran through the weeds and attempted to find away out and back to the car.  We spent almost 2hrs finding a way back to the car, and ended up hopping over 4 fences most of them had barbed wire.  lucky none of us were hurt, other than a few branched wacked into our faces as we ran.  We even heard dogs, wondering if they had dogs coming after us. 

Never really had this happen, cuz we never usually get caught or spotted.  Something interesting to share yet is probably why i’m exhausted now, itching and going to take a long long shower

After being here for 4 years I can’t really say i’m going to miss this snow, but man  we do get snowed on.  Funny thing is we never had a snow day.  But my sophomore year we did it was a huge storm in oct 13th and power lines were out people got injured even died from that storm.  Not to mention it was friday the 13th too.

I am used to this after 4 years but I’d like to get the hell out of here and go to cali already but my home is nyc =P so will see how this goes.  If not I always had that offer from Danny Cho at Vivid entertainment…. If you guys and girls don’t know what that is its a pornography company… haha dunno if i want to do that yet but its an option that he could hook me up for taking photos haha.

So for school i took an art 210 class intro to photography well digital photography.  I think I was a bit over qualified for the class and should have taken a more advance class for my art requirement but its my senior year im graduating in December.  Might as well get it done.

So my internship with Kc kratt at buffalo spree mag, is coming to an end.  Its been real fun seeing some of the interesting things in buffalo as well as getting a great education about its history. 
I’ve learned quite a bit about time management and scheduling as well, since I worked Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am- 5pm and sometime Mondays even other times for big shoots Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Eliot Chang was awesome, I couldn’t stop laughing almost. I enjoyed his show, he was vulgar, rude, funny, but we should all know we can’t take him serious about some of the things he says because its so extreme…

Like he mentioned if he was beating a black baby is he racists? well why would he be beating a black baby in the first place, although if he said he was beating a black person its something possible and realistic. 

The house was pack and some of the Q and A questions were funny.
