So i’ve been chasing sunsets for the past couple days still failed on many attempts.  However Last night I manage to sneak a few nice ones before the sun went down in Long Island City Pier.

I love this spot so if your ever in ny preferably when its warm i’ll have to show you it =).

So today at 2:15 I got my two wisdom teeth pulled.  Apparently I only have 3 so he said that pretty lucky.

I hate the dentist, but it was quick and painless, the only thing that sucks is that darn needle it hurts a bit at first, but the numbness started to kick in. 

My first wisdom teeth was quick, my second wasn’t so quick.  It was an impacted tooth.  Which meant it was slanted against another tooth.  He had trouble getting it out had to whip out the drill a few times and put alot of press to break the tooth up.  Finally after 10 mins working on it.  It pops out…

It hit the denist and his assistant square in the glasses at the same time haha… they were not expecting that.  Now I’m on some drugs and starving haha can’t eat for another 10 mins, but any suggestions on mushy stuff to eat?

So I’ve been really happy how things have been working out for me lately.  After just graduating college I figured i’d be screwed and jobless.  I took a chance and did things differently.  I’m not going for simple and boring.  I figure I try my best with what I can do and keep on moving up the ladder =)

-A friend is trying hook me up with this weekend shift job, its 30/hr  weekend shift.  I gotta speed up my word/excel and powerpoint skills.

–I’m getting payed this weekend for my club shots its not much but its something

maybe a small postion at a camera store doing the weekdays, and i’m trying to fit in some headshots in so if any newyorkers needs some heads let me know =P 

i’m doing a big shoot for ronjonwheels.  I’m shooting a bunch of cars and his new wheels which will be posted in a few car magazines can’t wait im psyched.  Hope end result is sweet.  Hope I don’t choke either i’ve been pretty cool with most of my shoots and really shine when i’m under pressure.

So all is going smoothly for jeff =) I am still waiting for bigger projects to come from the fashion guy i’ve talked to recently. 

So yea I’ve been real MIA, spent a week in buffalo and then had no laptop really to be online.  Then again I was spending quality time with my gf and friends.  Also chasing sunsets which I did not get many which kind of stinks =

They said they needed a shot of the photographer for some agents so I set up a shot with a blue and green gel and got a teal matching my scarf.

They are from overseas Australia to be exact.  Possibly working with them in the future more since they want to expand to NYC

The photos are multiple exposure so its something i’m familar so I won’t need to do much editing since they have a team over seas.

Oh so I also got a call from this guy who works on fashion projects.  Oddly enough I met him at one of the club events that I was shooting for Forbidden night life.  At first I thought he wanted the promoters card to get the pictures, but he actually wanted my card to see more of my work.  So hopefully things work out he gave me a call today and asked if I was interested in working on some fashion projects with him. 

I need start shooting some more head shots once my camera is fixed.  As well hoping for the new model to come out soon…

Hopefully I won’t be too busy and post my on going work, its going quick i’m actually surprised that i’m hitting connections this quick.

Busy busy on this side Shot a few more clubs and parties the past few nights hope everyones new years wasn’t too bad.

I also have been housing a few friends from school so its been quite busy in and out of the house.

Another thing is the camera seems to have failed to the point that its not even sticking in cold weather but indoors too.  Sad to say I will be out of a camera this week hopefully in time for the weekend I hope.

I love nyc, but its been just as cold as Buffalo, NY.  Man to think I got away from all that cold, but no I’m still in an area that is cold just not as bad. 

Looks like a lot of snow tonight and tomorrow possibly…
Ah my friends want to hit up a xmas club, its so cold out their crazy, but I guess I will be joining them. 

I ended up seeing Avatar again we couldnt see imax but we got to see it in 3d again…  There was this nasty flickering on the right side of the screen they didnt bother to fix it till half the theathere complained.   So 15 mins in they cut the film and then waited 40 minutes almost for them to restart the movie at 12 minutes in.  It was still great to watch a second time but I really want to see it in IMAX.
